Scouts are extra fast faction interceptors (with an impulse speed of 85 so keep in mind that catching them might take some time -- hit them coming towards you if you can) which carry tokens called "messages" that can be exchanged to faction tokens good for buying anything in the faction store. Get them often, they will speed up your development. The Federation Store is accepting Klingon messages, the Klingon Store wants Romulan messages and the Romulans accept, you guessed it, Federation messages. Don't ask me what the Klingons want to do with reports on nail file productution as this will stay their secret. (##) Free cash. Nice! How much? That depends on your reputation. The higher you get the worse the ratio.
